CIAO was formed in 1988 as a social club for Italian-Americans to enjoy cultural and educational presentations, trips, and dinners.
In 1989 CIAO began making monetary awards to local high school and college students to help them further their academic endeavors.
Over the years CIAO has conducted various fundraising activities to help support the club and its various charitable works.
In 2003 the club presented the First Annual Italian Festival as our primary fundraising event.
Since its inception, our Annual Italian Festival has enabled CIAO to considerably increase its charitable contributions and membership.
